Latest on website!

Have you ever wondered what encaustic art is actually like? It really needs to be seen and touched to appreciate its beauty. I have added several small pieces of wax art to my website to allow you to understand more about this beautiful and ancient art form. One of my latest pieces added to the website includes Daisy Dreams above. See the luminous translucent layers, feel the lovely texture and smell the delicious beeswax. Encaustic art is truly a tactile experience - embracing all the senses! Only one of each unique design is available!

Special cards for that special person

Did you know that I can also create individual A4 cards with original alcohol ink or encaustic wax art mounted on the front? Perfect for that special Birthday, Wedding, Mother’s Day or Christmas card for your partner or family member. Please just get in touch with your requirements.

In the Studio

I am experimenting with some new, more abstract wax designs using hand-cut birch ply. I’m very excited about the possibilities the new designs might offer. Watch this space or their availability!

Gift and Craft Fair - Nature in Art - October 25th and 26th October

I will have a stall at the very popular Nature in Art Craft Fair in October   where I will be selling my art on a wide range of products including tea lights, candle holders, paintings, coasters, mugs, and keyrings! If you live locally, please come and visit me there! It is a fantastic place for a day out with its Museum and Art Gallery, Sculpture Garden and a really great Coffee Shop. Nature in Art - Dare to Dabble course

On October 22nd I am teaching a small art workshop at NIA where you will learn to hand dye tissue paper and then use it for a meadow scene acrylic painting. Book update!

Search Press, my publisher are have designed the draft front cover of my book which is very exciting to see! My book will describe how to hand dye tissue paper will also include ten inspiring projects on how to use the hand dyed tissue paper. I will be reviewing the draft edit of the book this summer. The book length has increased due to all the instructions and techniques included - this does mean the publication date has moved slightly - to March 2026. Keep following for more info…
