Here is an update on my art journey….

Great news - my luxury cushions are now available, as before!

The meadow painting on the cover is one of my favourites - a reminder of the beautiful late Summer meadows in the Cotswolds as we move towards Autumn. This design has now been licensed to Mistletoe House cards, so you may see it in some shops / garden centres for sale!

Artist in Residence - Nature in Art 15th-20th September 2026

I am really looking forward to having the opportunity to be an Artist in Residence at NIA - there I will be creating some of my artwork which will allow me to demonstrate some of my techniques, products and equipment used to create my encaustic wax art and my hand dyed tissue paper. Paintings and other items featuring my art will be available to purchase.  Add the date to your diary! I hope you are able to come and say hello!

LandScape Magazine article

In August I was lucky enough to be interviewed by a journalist for Landscape magazine to talk about my encaustic art and hand dyed tissue. A photographer also visited and took lots of photos of my processes as well as final pieces. I am excited to see how the article develops. It is due for publication early Summer 2027! Watch this space for updates!

Irish Art Retreat

I am very excited to be off to the west coast of Ireland later this month on an art retreat to further develop my encaustic wax art skills - taught by one of my favourite encaustic artists - Isabelle Gaborit. I can't wait to learn some more new techniques to use! Once I return I plan to create lots more wild seascapes! Read more in the next Newsletter!

It's never too early for Christmas in my opinion! I've been busy since July making encaustic wax Christmas cards as well as hand painting wax designs onto glass jars and Christmas baubles! These are available for sale at my in person events. See photos below.

I love to meet people at the craft fairs I go to and really enjoy explaining my art to them. I hope to see you there!

Gift and Craft Fair - Nature in Art - October 31st / November 1st

I will have a stall at the very popular Nature in Art Craft Fair in October where I will be selling my art on a wide range of products including tea lights, candle holders, bags, coasters, mugs, and key rings, as well as lots of original art, including encaustic! I'm also bringing some original Christmas cards, decorated jars and hand painted Christmas baubles! Perfect for buying unusual and original Christmas gifts and decorations. Whispers of Nature Solo Exhibition - Gardens Gallery, Cheltenham 15th-19th December 2026

Another first for me - I will be hosting my first ever solo exhibition featuring my  encaustic wax art, alcohol ink paintings and other artwork. Original paintings and other items featuring my art will be available to purchase.  Add the date to your diary! I hope you are able to come and say hello!
